Since the site launched in 2004, there has been more than 50,000 visitors that have come to the site from more than 25 different countries. The popularity of the site has doubled every year, with 2006 accounting for more than half with just over 27,000 visitors. In just January of this year alone there were more than 5,000 visitors and the site is on pace to have more than 60,000 visitors by the end of the year.
In 2007, we will be launching the new 10th Anniversary edition of BulletMuzik.com that will have several new features and options for fans including Ring Tones, Wall Paper, Screen Savers and Downloads to name a few. Happy New Years! This time around for us the new year is a little more special as we enter our tenth year of making and selling music. Bullet is one of the very few independent artists from the Pacific Northwest that can say he’s made music professionally for a decade. In the first 9 years of his career he released 20 different projects and sold more than 56,000 copies of his music. In 2006, Bullet came out with a solid plan of attack almost never swaying off course for even a second. Instead of planning on going to all these new places, he went back to familiar territory but this time stayed until it was a success before moving on. This approach allowed him and his crew the ability to focus on one city at a time which made each state more than twice as profitable in the end (10 out of 14 states bought more CD's in 2006 than they did any year prior). It increased the overall sales in each city, which then led to each state proving that even the impossible is possible with the right stradegy. If you ask anybody in the music industry, it will be hard to find somebody that will tell you its profitable to promote your music in places like South Dakota unless your asking Bullet. "I believe you can sell rap CD's to anybody, anywhere at anytime if you make good music and have the right plan" says Bullet. When you look at the numbers accross the board, numbers don't lie. 2006 was Bullet's most successful year to date and his list of accomplishments stretches far beyond the Northwest and California. In just 9 years time, Bullet has already become one of the most successful rappers in the 20 year history of Northwest rap with a total of 20 releases and more than 50,000 copies sold. There aren't to many artists/groups anywhere from any genre that can say they've been able to accomplish that.

In the world of Rap and Hip Hop times change and so does the style of music that artists are making. In the latest news, Bullet releases his first full length album overseas in a joint venture with G House03 Records in Japan. With distribution being handled by Cisco (Tokyo Office), “International Reign” is available in all major retail stores throughout Japan and online as an import around the globe. The album is available on CD and Vinyl which both feature music that has never been released on any of Bullet’s previous U.S. releases. “This is a big step for me, I’m finally reaching my second biggest market on a national retail level. Although Bullet is well known through the entire state of Idaho for his music, he is still gaining new fans almost everyday. After an 11 day trip through the state concluded, his 2006 road crew sold over 1100 CD’s to fans in cities which included Twin Falls, Jerome, Burley, Rupurt, Pocatello, Chubbuck, Fort Hall, Blackfoot and Idaho Falls. In 2004, the state of Idaho was Bullet’s most successful market after selling more than 1,500 CD’s and was his third (third to Oregon & Washington) best market in 2005 after selling 800. In 2006, Idaho is ranked 2nd only to Bullet’s home state of Washington which is already over 1,500 CD’s for the year.
It is without question Washington, Oregon & Idaho continues to be Bullet’s biggest markets and is home to the largest portion of his fan base in the United States. “Ever since the first time I brought my music to Idaho October 28th, 2000 the Hip-Hop fans of Idaho have embraced me and made me one of the best selling independent rappers in Idaho. With the 2006 road campaign just underway, the first reason to celebrate is here. Today in Pasco, Washington Melinda Flores purchased the 8,500th copy of When The Reign Falls adding to the total of Bullet’s already best selling album. Since its release in 2004, the album has stood up to music critics all over the world and continues to not only be one of the best selling Northwest Rap Albums since 1993 but continues to make Bullet one of most listened to Northwest artists across the globe. “I’ve always believed in this album, we’ve worked hard to make sure this album is remembered for what it is, a great album. Its remained our top priority and will continue to be until we reach the 10,000 mark” says Bullet.
Although the album is currently out of stock, the album has already been re-ordered and is on pace to reach 10,000 by May of this year.

In a three part in depth interview, Bullet sits down with long time friend and supporter Milk Daddy of Africas Gateway. This interview began in June of 2005 while Bullet was on the road in the United States, which was finally completed 3 months later in September. I’m sure people are wondering where Bullet the rap artist is really from, and even I wouldn’t mind hearing the answer to that again. The reality as stated in his latest interview is Bellevue, Washington and unless you reside in the vicinity of Washington State you probably don’t have a clue where that is unless somebody told you it was 5 minutes East of Seattle. Anyways I am bringing this to your attention due to the fact Underground Rap music gets labeled or categorized as local music but is that really the truth? I don’t think his fans in Germany would describe him as a local artist do you? With that stated I am almost betting my previous statement has caught your attention as you wonder about the artist who seems to be appearing in front of you constantly. Well sit down and read his first interview in Germany as he tries to introduce himself to people thousands and thousands of miles away.

The sophomore album from Bullet, which is almost 5 years old, received a solid review from UGRap.com, a site that has proven to be a harsh critic recently on some of the other Eastside releases. After resurrecting We Getz Perved in 2004 with a high powered re-release version of the album, Bullet returned in 2005 with the original album once again for all of the die hard Bullet fans that want every song from every album. The results? Almost another 1000 copies sold after doing 2,000 with the first pressing bringing the total to almost 3,000 for Bullet’s 2nd album. During the critique the reviewer mentions several tracks including the single “True Riderz”, which features Suga T of The Click). It is more than obvious that Bullet still believes in his entire catalog and continues to promote it to the entire world even years later.

There is much cause to celebrate if your Bullet or a fan of his best selling release "When The Rain Falls". Today in Bismarck, North Dakota the 6,000th copy was sold when DJ purchased the album. Around the world many people may be thinking is 6,000 really a valid reason to pop the champagne bottles and toast, but if you really understand the Independent Music Scene then you realize that there are thousands of artists who press there album everyday and out of all those artists most will never sell through their first order of 1,000 CD's.
With that said now consider the Pacific Northwest Rap scene and its 17 year history. There are about 20 to 25 albums that have reached the 5,000 mark or higher, 6 of which belong to Platinum selling and Northwest Legend Sir Mix A Lot. Aside from Sir Mix A Lot, you have artists like Kid Sensation, Criminal Nation, E-Dawg, DMS, Funk Daddy, Cool Nutz, Pete Miser, The 5 Fingers Of Funk, Livesavas, and The D.B.A. who have sold 5,000 or more. Out of that list Bullet is the only white rap artist, which says even more. To date no Hispanic Northwest Rapper has sold more than 1,500 copies of one album but that should change this year with the Bullet Presents Texas T or Juice albums. "It's taken a lot more than a great album to sell these types of numbers, in fact there are probably more than 30 people who have contributed to just the sales and promotions of "When The Rain Falls". I owe a lot of people for the success that I've achieved on this project because independent artists can't reach these numbers alone," states Bullet.
"When The Rain Falls" has accomplished a lot in its first 18 months, including great reviews from Hip-Hip writers and fans around the globe and though nobody can truly predict what else this album will achieve, nobody can deny its success. When asked if there was still more he wanted to do with this album he laughed saying "I reached my goal at 5000 and most rappers will never do that, but yea I want to sell it until its hits 10,000 although I can't promise we'll stop there." To date Bullet & Eastside Muzik Inc, have manufactured 7,000 CD's and 550 Vinyl of the album with plans to repress another 3,000 CD's in August.

The resurgence of "The Sunrise" continues as Bullet & company put a much a needed emphasis on the debut album from Juice. After recently reaching the 1,000-copy plateau and renegotiating the ownership rights to the album, Bullet now turns his focus back to publicity and promotions. The latest press is in as UGRap.com gives the album 2.5 out of 5 stars, which is quite a bit less than its last review by a Hip-Hop site in Canada last month. Although this time around the album received a lower score it was a solid in depth review acknowledging the strengths and weaknesses of the album. They described Juice as a commercial rapper with a large blend of R&B, which is a perfect description of what the album is but maybe not what they expected.

In the underground world of muzik there are numerous factors to what makes a project successful and though there are no real facts that explain why, the fact is female rappers and CD singles more often than not fail. With that said 18 months ago Bullet & Eastside Muzik decided to try some marketing ideas in hopes to build a demand for their first and only female rapper Kay Kay. In the end the goal of 2,000 copies sold was completed today when Lane Esquibel from Billings, Montana bought the last copy. "It can't be denied, 2,000 copies is a great accomplishment for a female rapper her first time out, but we also understand it will take a better album and more promotions to really bring a female rapper to the forefront of the underground rap scene in the Pacific Northwest" says Bullet. In retrospect Bullet & Eastside Muzik Inc. are the first established Northwest Label to release a female rapper, which proves that it is a difficult task at the present time.

The Sick Lake Clique this time around is getting peoples attention with what has become there most talked about album. In their latest write up UGRap.com in Germany rates the album 2.25 stars as a whole, but does praise songs like "It's A Jungle" and "Why Do Angels Fall" as hot tracks. In the end they call the track "You Aint" a great finale to a much-improved album from The Sick Lake Clique.

After numerous setbacks, the first of many accomplishments for the debut album "The Sunrise" is finally here. Today in Spokane, Washington Jason & Christine purchased the 1000th copy of the album. Early last month Bullet & Eastside Muzik negotiated the manufacturing and distribution rights to the albums and have big plans to increase the overall sales numbers on "The Sunrise" this year on the road. "It is a great achievement for Juice and his debut album, but at the time we all feel the album has the potential to do so much more" says Bullet. Currently Juice is back in the studio working on a group album that is scheduled for release later this year.
Recently Bullet & Eastside Muzik Inc, have been receiving a lot of publicity through magazine and websites all over the world. It's official: Bullet & Ready Starr is launching a massive cross-promotional campaign starting with the first of two fully wrapped Vans. The first van will leave tonight at 5:00PM from Walla Walla, Washington with a four-man promotional team on board. It is scheduled to hit more than 20 western states before November 15th. Image Smarts in Walla Walla wrapped the van and did a great job.

With a vastly growing catalog featuring an assortment of flavors the Bullet Presents theme returns with the creation of "Blood Is Thicker Than Water". This debut album from Texas T, now be handled by Bullet&Eastside Muzik Inc continues to make positive steps outside of Idaho and into the international markets of Asia and Europe. Texas T has already firmly rooted himself in the Chicano based Northwest cities through hard work and determination. In its latest review the album was described as a "Solid Release" before going on to describe it as "mandatory listening". From the birth of North Coast Rain in 2003 the album has been praised around the world as the best compilation to come out of the Pacific Northwest. With skepticism surrounding the Special Edition which features 10 new tracks "North Coast Rain 2005" has pushed forward not only repeating the success of the original but is easily on pace to sell three times more units. The universal album that has captured so many new fans for Bullet is once again making headlines with its latest review. When The Rain Falls, which is a fan favorite has already sold 6,000 copies and shows no signs of stopping. Kristi Singer a writer for my review.com calls the title track "a perfect feel good number for summer drives" and goes on to say "I doubt it will be long before his songs are plastered on radio hit lists". The latest review continues to validate the ongoing success of the record as it makes it move toward 10,000 copies before 2006. To glance into the life of musicians and entertainers most will say the world is watching, but in the underground rap movement that really isn't the case, or is it? In the heart of the Northwest region, the rap movement for years has not been given the publicity or coverage needed. Today that is slowly changing through a conscience effort by artists like Bullet who are now taking the time to reach the hip-hop fans worldwide. After reaching Japan and building a fan base there, Bullet is now officially being introduced in Canada as well as several other countries. "Our mission right now is to introduce our music to new places in the United States and overseas" says Bullet. In 2005 that mission seems to be on schedule as Bullet has already sold albums in numerous countries on several different contents. This is a big step for Bullet and the Northwest scene as they cross the northern border into Canada and introduce themselves to Canadian fans.

In one of the more recent power moves Bullet aligns himself with Sick Lake Records, the label responsible for offering the sophomore release for Utah's super group the Sick Lake Clique. With a growing global awareness and distribution the first review is in. The new album lives up to its title under the microscope boasting a 4 star rating. The album is said to have "no dips or dull points" as the Sick Lake Clique "serves up a buffet of talent for hungry fans." Later this year the Sick Lake Clique will return to the studio with new member Bullet as they begin work on the group's third album "The Final Four". In the beginning there was a lot of doubts when J-Trey first started working with Bullet&Eastside Muzik Inc. for several reasons. Most known was the labels core street audience at the time verse the J-Trey mass appeal. Well that was then, and this is now. With each day that passes J-Trey has continued to silence underground critics and earn the respect of fans worldwide. The roster change bringing Jasmine into the group to replace Skylar helped take J-Trey to that next threshold. In the latest review "Jaze Reign" received 4 ½ Stars just missing a perfect score and continued by stating, "J-Trey is full of talent". On Sunday May 22, 2005 at 12:35 p.m., Reigna Jasmine Anderson made her entrance into the world weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces and just over 20 inches tall. Reigna (Reyna), Spanish for Queen with the unique spelling is most fitting for the queen she is. Her last name Anderson is in memory of Bullet's grandmother Mildred W. Anderson who past away in 2000. "It's been a long time since something this big has happened for me" says Bullet, who is just trying to enjoy every minute with his new daughter. There is already talks of changing the spelling of previously released albums from Rain to Reign, as well as changing the title of his new project "The Lost Album" to "Before The Reign".

It is official, after selling records for more than a year in Japan, Bullet finally sat down and got the opportunity to bridge the language gap and introduce himself to the country that has bought more of his albums than anywhere in the world outside the United States. Being in a unique position and having some of the names of his fans in Japan, at the end of the interview he actually thanked all of them by name. "This is what doing music is all about to me, knowing that people on the other side of the world love what I do is big" says Bullet. Ren Kirishima, a writer for Custom Low Riding Magazine, the second largest Hip-Hop magazine in Japan, did the interview after Daigo Ishiyama from G House Records put it all together. Although this is the first interview in Japan, Bullet received almost a full page write-up on all of his albums in the October/2004 issue of Custom Low Riding Magazine by Ren Kirishima himself after he bought the albums from an American website.

It's been 5 years since the Sick Lake Clique came out and put a chokehold on the state of Utah and the underground scene in Salt Lake City. Now the super groups back with the follow up record titled The Invasion, and without question there back and real serious. The new album boasts 16 hot blazing tracks including the down south rendition "U Aint" which is definitely a warning shot to other rappers and labels who underestimate the Sick Lake Clique. The record also boasts reflection and remembrance type of songs like "Why Do Angels Fall" from Lady Lavish and "Now I Lay Me Down" from Mista Locc, which add a real depth to the album that anybody can feel.
This is a group where each member has a unique style, which makes it very hard to label the album into a specific genre. With Lady Lavish there is a fast and fluent delivery comparable to the Midwest with her melodic verses and catchy hooks, while King Cevil's rowdy style rolls over tracks aggressively like the South and Mista Locc brings it raw and uncut like any of the best underground West Coast rappers. On April 28th, 2005 the J Trey family welcomed it's newest member, weighing in at 6 lbs 4.5 oz, Jalen Michael Trudeau. "Jalen" means "calm or serene" and "Michael" is after the greatest, #23. After years in the driver's seat of Eastside Records/Eastside Muzik Inc, Bullet has changed his focus not only as an artist but also in business. Recently after shutting down his label and joining Sick Lake Records as an artist he is now using the platform of his newly established distribution company (Eastside Muzik Distribution) to introduce a Bullet catalog of more than 20 albums. "It's time to do something different, something nobody is really expecting", says Bullet. In 2005, the catalog will start with the re-release of North Coast Rain and Bullet Presents Texas T Blood Is Thicker Than Water with several more to be finished by July.
After ending the seven-year run as CEO/Artist of Eastside Records/Eastside Muzik Inc, Bullet is now officially apart of Utah's largest Independent rap label, Sick Lake Records. This recent acquisition for Steve Sanders/CEO has not only strengthened their already good position in the Utah rap scene, but also will undoubtedly open more doors in other markets. Although there has been no mention of a release date for a new Bullet album on Sick Lake Records, Bullet will be heading back in the studio in October as a member of the Sick Lake Clique to record the groups 3rd album. The length or financial terms of this contract weren't disclosed.
For those of you that didn't hear, after 7 years Eastside Muzik Inc. (Formerly known as Eastside Records) decided it was time to change the role it played in the record business. Bullet CEO & Founder just felt it was time to go in a different direction. "It''s a lot of responsibility to run and operate a record label nowadays, especially when you have to be an artist at the same time" says Bullet. Eastside Muzik Inc. has spent the past several months working with their former artists to negotiate the financial aspects and future of each album. Eastside Muzik Inc. is making the transition from an independent record label to a Rap and R&B music distributor in 2005. Most of the past Eastside Records & Eastside Muzik Inc. releases will now be distributed exclusively through Bullet's new company Eastside Muzik Distribution.
In seven years, Eastside Records/Eastside Muzik Inc. released 15 different titles, manufactured more than 29,000 CD's and Tapes and introduced you to artists like Todd G, J-Trey, Yuns, Juice, Kay Kay, Khevlar, Arjay, Jazz, White Boy Will, Shaolin, and Bullet himself. They definitely established themselves as one of the top Northwest Record Labels and had a respectable run.
